The club and
the Federation.
VARTA brings people onto the field: it runs games, trains teams and provides the equipment. The Sports Laser Tag Federation connects those games into leagues, educational programmes and shared sporting rules.
The same people often worked in both organisations. The club provided a field and practical experience; the Federation developed rules and connected teams from different cities.

VARTA grew from a group of friends who trained regularly, competed in paintball tournaments and travelled to other venues. The club archive contains records of tactical and sporting tournaments, including trips to Moldova and Kharkiv. We are still verifying the exact dates against photographs and match records.

In 2015, the Sports Laser Tag Federation was officially registered as a non-governmental organisation. That autumn, the Federation and VARTA held the open themed tournament ‘Gangs of Stanislaviv’ in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Promprylad's mechanical hall became an open laser tag arena for a day. New and experienced players joined by donation and then played a tournament. VARTA reported that UAH 24,677 had been raised and transferred toward pickup trucks for the 1st Separate Assault Regiment.
